Getting Married After Student Visa Granted

Hi all,

My situation is that I have got student visa 574 and am still in my country. I will be leaving for Australia next month. My query is that if I get married before going there, then what are the possibilities of bringing her there?

Even (if it makes any difference) if I plan to go there first and come back on vacations and then get married. What are the possibilities of bringing her in this case?

Kindly help.

Family members can accompany students but they do need to have been shown on your student visa application.
How to Apply for Dependent Family Members to Join You
Your wife will need to get a separate visa for herself.
