Question Temporary --> Permanent

Hey guys,

I need some help and hopefully you can help me out!!!

I got my temporary partner visa on 2012, recently I got a letter from Australian Immigration, they request for more information for my permanent visa application, and this is a short part of the letter...

" After submitting the application online you must upload supporting documents including:

- A statutory declaration from your sponsor declaring that the relationship is genuine and continuing;
- A copy of your sponsor's identity document such as a passport or drivers license. "

I'm not sure what exactly they need, is it just the joint bank account details and the house bills or rental details from the real estate?
What else should I give them? Do I need any forms?

Hope anyone here can help me out, I'm REALLY appreciate it!!!!!! Thanks so much for your help and time!!!!

Have a good day!!!!!!!

Hey Chrissy,

Thanks a lot for your reply!
I just wondering do I also need all those forms as well? the form 80, 888?
My husband didn't have a passport when we lodged the application, but he got one after, does he need to fill up some form for that?
I actually quite confuse of what I need for my application ( 801 )....
Do we still need to prove all those marriage cert and photos again? We did heaps for the first stage to get my temporary, so do we need to do that again?....

And also, should I do all these online? Or better post them? March this year will be two years of my temporary visa, and I noticed they said better not too early and not too late to submit all they need, so when should I do all these?

Thanks again for your time! I really need some help!

They should've sent you a checklist of the documents they need. I got my 801 in April last year and didn't need to supply any information like rental statements, photos or anything - they didn't ask for it. Just submit the stuff they have specifically asked for, no point making more work for yourself. Your sponsor will need to do another stat dec saying you are still in a relationship.
No form for your husbands passport as he was the sponsor, not the applicant. They just need you to scan in his passport photo page so they can verify his identity.
Have they asked for form 80? They probably won't ask you to do this again if you filled it in for your 820 application.
Is there a checklist from immigration for you?

Hi

No, they didn't send me any checklist, probably this is why I'm so confuse, should they send it with the letter or email? I checked my email and I didn't get anything from immigration so I don't even know if I need the form 80 What should I do now?

I got it in a letter, but it might have all changed now you can apply electronically.
Have they asked for the for 80? Or have they just asked for the stat decs and your partners ID?

In the letter they only asked for a statutory declaration from my sponsor and my partner ID....So is that means it's all I need?

I'm really appreciate of your time, this is so nice of you to try to help me out! Thanks heaps!!!!!

I think I would be tempted to give immigration a ring CotyM. It seems unusual that they haven't asked for an updated AFP check for example. Better safe than sorry.
And chrissie, if you didn't do a form 80 for your 820 application, I would be tempted to do one for your 801 rather than have immigration ask for it - good plan
