Employer sponsorship

Hi guys, my employer has more or less agreed to sponsor me but the only problem is he has already sponsored one guy about 6 months ago and is in the process of sponsoring another and we dont know if they are any restrictions as to how many people he can sponsor. He is looking into it and will hopefully get back to me soon. He is in the process of expanding his business which is why he is keen to sponsor me. Does anyone know if there is a certain limit? Also, what other things may stand in the way of my sponsorship? All help appreciated

Immi will obviously look at any case an employer puts up and if he meets requirements I'd not expect them to be refusing on the basis of expansion of a business but they'll examine all aspects just as they will your own eligibility.
If he is approved along with the position he nominates and you are assessed as being eligible for that position, it should not be a problem.

update: My boss's accountant has told him not to sponsor anyone else until next year so that screws me up i have no idea why his accountant would say that as I've not had a chance to ask my boss what the reason was. Time to look at other options (not that i have many)

Accountants usually work on a financial year basis, the next one starting
July01, so he doesn't mean that does he?
