Validation Stamp

Hello everyone,

I have just returned from my validation trip. It went all right and I now have an Australian immigration stamp on my passport.

I have now returned to my home in Kuala Lumpur. I am still looking for a job in Australia and plan to go over later. So I will be outside of Australia during the "enter by date" on my visa sticker. I understand that this is not a concern and that I do not need to be in the country on that date. I understand that as long as I have stamped my passport before that date, my visa is validated. Anyone confirm this?

Thanks and Regards,
Hock Siew

Yes, if you have a PR visa and have entered Australia, you have done all is necessary and you are now officially an Australian Resident even if you aren't residing here.
