Am I eligible for PR even though my occupation is not enlisted in SOL?

I am an events/ marketing professional with about 7 years of work experience in India. I have a post graduate degree from ICFAI (MBA). I would like to apply for a PR in Australia. Unfortunately the SOL doesn't have my occupation enlisted at the moment. Would I still be eligible for PR? If yes, could you pls detail out the process for me.

If your occupation is level 3 or above (as defined in ANZSCO), you maybe eligible for RSMS-sc. 187, if you can find an eligible sponsor in a regional area to sponsor you.

ANZSCO Codes and Occupations
Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme visa (subclass 187)

Good evening,

If you have found your occupation on the CSOL list then it means you can apply for the 190 State Sponsorship Visa or the 489 Regional Skilled Visa. This is absolutely fine to have your occupation on that list.

The 190 visa is almost exactly the same as the 189. The only difference is the 190 requires you to live and work in the same state for period of 2 years and you get 5 pts for state sponsorship.

Kind regards
