Unhappy Need information on SRS

Dear All members,
i am BE mechanical Engineer.
i don't have enough IELTS score. so, want to apply for SRS visa.
i have overall 6.5 band but 5.5 in writing.
one of my friend informed that i am eligible for SRS.
so, i want to know is it possible or not?
please inform and he also said SRS rules would be changed from next month.

SRS? or do you mean ENS OR RSMS?

If you have checked the 176 sponsorship eligibility, I think you'll find a minimum of 6.0 in all 4 bands is required.

Dear Samsung,

My understanding is the same as what Wanderer wrote. I have a Class 176 Visa. I did my IELTS test last year, and I needed a minimum of 6.0 in every band, regardless of what the average is. I am not sure about any future changes or for other Visa types.
