provision of evidence of English language ability

Hello

I am currently applying for a 175 GSM VISA. I am a British citizen. I have just read on the IMMI website that there are new arrangements for the provision of evidence for English language ability. It goes on to say that "Applicants will have 28 days from the date of application to provide their English language results if they did not provide them at time of application. At this point in time, if evidence has not been provided the application will be refused."

Does this mean that I have to do an IELTS test ?

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks

Mark

It depends on whether you just want the 15 points for english that someone with a UK passport gets or if you need the 25 points you'll need to do a test and get a score of 7.0 in each section.
