Questions on Schedule 1 Priority Processing?

Hi Everyone,
I was assessed as 2231-79 (C++/C#/C Specialist) of the ASCO code in December 2009, and applied for GSM-175 (MODL/CSL) on Feb 06,2010 just couple of days before the new changes by Minister for Immigration were announced. CO Assigned on 18-03-2010 and requested Form 80 & 1221 along with IELTS score of my wife & CV's (both for myself and wife). Sent all documents on 29-04-2010 (information updated on immi website).

I was reading about priority processing yesterday and was shocked to see that i am at priority 4 (as i am in Schedule 1).

I have few questions:
1. People, who applied before July 1st, 2010 will always be considered in Schedule 1 or there are any option for them to move to higher priority?
2. If Yes (for transitional arrangements), then how this process will work (like i will be required a correlation letter from ACS for ASCO & ANZCO)?
3. Is there any possibility of moving my application from GSM-175 to State Sponsored (without applying again, as i will have to pay the Visa fee again)?
4. At the moment, as far as i understood, i am at priority 4. Does this mean that all the applicants, who applied before July 1st, 2010 will remain at Priority 4?
5. If all the previous applications who applied before July 1st, 2010 will remain at priority 4, then it means that any person applying now will be automatically prioritized?

I will greatly appreciate your answers.

Thanks and Regards.

If you have a read of P3 & P4 of http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/gener...-july-2010.pdf it is the people who have applied previously and whose occupation is not on the new SOL that will have priority 4.
There is information there in regard to re-applying options and it has always been the case that to apply with a different occupation does mean a new application and a different occupation means also a new assessment.
Any applications for occupations on the new SOL regardless of when they are made will have priority 3 and be considered ahead of priority 4 applications.
