Online application thread for visa 885

Hi All,

I just have a quick question regarding the medical assessment. As you see, I have taken the check, but I didn't provide any medical history nor did I aware to provide them before the process. Is it going to impact my medical assessment? I have received the document but it is sealed , and written " DO NOT OPEN ". This is a little tricky, as I want to lodge my 885 application online, and have to open and scan this (isn't it a correct way?)
Anybody have any idea on how to correctly lodge document for pr by online lodgement?

Thanks

I've not checked an online application process and do not know whether they still have a provision for forwarding the medical examination so best you make a quick call to Immi 131881.
Please post what they say as others could be interested.

How much time is available to upload documents

Hi,

I lodged online GSM application for 175. After completing application, I completed the payment process and got a TRN. Due to problems with the browser, I could not note the TRN and also could not upload any document in the last step.
I contacted DIAC and they emailed the TRN in next 2 days. After that I was able to upload the required documents approx one week after the initial lodgement of the application.

Is there any time limit to upload the documents after formal lodgement of the application? Some pages on DIAC mention about providing document evidence (e.g. skill assessment, ielts etc) "at the time of application lodgement". Does this mean same date when the payment was done online ?

Thanks in advance for your attention

-AJel

You ought to check what you need to have as a minimum requirement when you make your application - Skilled – Independent (Migrant) Visa (Subclass 175)
There have been times where a 28 day allowance has been provided for getting an IELTS result in.

Hi AJel,

I had some issues too with my TRN and password.
I'm pretty sure they are reasonable and don't expect you to provide evidence 'on the day of application' because you had problems when submitting. It is more like 'as soon as possible'. Don't forget that it will take months before they assign an case officer to your case, so if you provide the documents in the meantime, that should be just fine. They will ask for the required documents if something's missing anyway. As Wanderer says you of course need a minimum of documents ready before lodging, so get these up asap.

Hope this helps!

Cheers,

Bram
