Wow that's a lot of work days away!

The way the multi entry visa works is generally (and ones I have seen) A 3 month visa can actually be a few days short of 6 months, You leave Australia briefly before the 3 months is up, and enter just prior to the last date of entry. You get max 3 months in Australia after last date of entry.

If it were me I would submit both together and only 3 month multi entry. Do an online PMV so you can add evidence at any time. On that roster I would visit her a few times after that. That would be 6 months here 2 x trip there on 9 days off - 8.5 months for process time over.

Thankyou all for replying
Im aware of the last date entry thing but theres not much point in her staying longer than 10 days as i will be at work, the idea would be that she comes for 10 days goes home then comes back next break for another 10 days
With a PMV processing in the back ground, are back to back three month visa's un heard of? A 90 day visa for us really only means 30 days in australia

Its alot of work days away but i do 12-14 hour days for 26 days straight, first 3 days of break i basically just eat and sleep. Work it out and i get less time off per year than a 9-5 weekday worker, but i prefer it, getting the weekends owed in a 9day block means you can do more with your time off, hence the travel plans!

A friend of mine's wife from Thailand applied for a 3 month multi entry and was given a 6 month multi entry!

Maybe in your case try the 6 month option (she has runs on the board now) at worsted it will be refused, send another straight away after that for 3 months. If it all gets too much go see her a few times for 5 or 6 days.

In any case, all the time look for relationship evidence. I am sure that Mark will supply good information on explaining length of visa request due work commitments and the need for it to be a multi entry.

Very good to see you in much better spirits than in your first post.

Life was not meant to be easy - if you think it is, Try immigration! lol.
