Question Does everything need to be certified??

Hi everyone,

Forgive me for what is probably a silly question. I know that all offical docs (passport, birth certicate etc) need to be provided as certified copies in a partner visa application.

However, my boyfriend and I have acquired an absolute HEAP of other evidence that relationship is 'geniune and continuing' (flight tickets, bank statements, dinner receipts, photos, tickets to footy games and other leisure stuff).

Do all of these bits need to be certified as copies of the originals to be accepted in my application?

Thanks,

Emma & Remy

You have it pretty well right in getting copies of documents certified as true copies but other things are really more for ancilliary support and it's a bit difficult to forge bank statements and tickets and stuff, so most people do not bother and you also do not want to go too overboard on them either.
They'll hardly be looked at I'd expect and perhaps make like a face sheet listing that you staple no more than half a dozen of such things to and make a note that you have 16 dozen more if you like.
