Hi all.i applied 309 partner visa from India on last month.process will take long time.meantime i wish to get my partner on visiting visa.someone saying that once my wife enter in Australis as visitor basis.partner visa processing will be stopped.anyone know about the connection between visiting visa and spouse visa.plz help me.it would be gr8.tx..

Whoever told you that was wrong. When your partner has been approved for a visitor visa, you simply need to let her CO know when she is traveling and ask (nicely) for them to notify you when they're ready to make a decision on the visa so that she can leave the country. It will not stop processing.

PR Granted: Early April 2017.

Hello .I have applied 309 partner visa on 3rd february.Really I surptised that I got medical request on today.any one have idea about the process days after get medical.thank you.pls give ur valuable request

My Fiance` from high risk country (Philippines) applied 5th August 2013 and visa granted yesterday (a week short of 7 months) No interview either.
