Visa relodged.

Hey to all experts in the room.

I have made a couple of mistakes when I lodged for a visa early this year. At the time of lodgment I sent DIAC an IELTS test result where I didn't pass the IELTS but I also sent them receipt to show that I was going to sit for a new exam.
I also made a mistake and chose the wrong occupation other that the one that I got a positive test for.

So because of these mistakes I was scared that my visa would be refused so I withdrew the application and I lodged for another one with all the correct documents this time.
The withdrawal letter that I got from DIAC says that the visa application has now been closed and will not be processed any further.

My question: How literal is that statement in that letter from that. When making a decision on my visa will they go back to my previous application that I withdrew to make a decision based on the documents provided in both the withdrawn and the newly lodged application? Or will they not look at my withdrawn application and look at just my newly lodged application?

Thanks.

If you really want to know why not send a query into Immi for all you'll get here for an answer to something like that is an attempt at mind reading.
The only trouble being there are just too many minds at Immi and it's easy to pick up stray ESP waves.
My antenna's buzzing with the possibility that an application will be considered on how you comply with eligibility for the visa applied for and not a previous one withdrawn.
