CO forgot take the overseas birth certificate!!!

We had our interview today. Visa 820. 20 minutes interview and the CO said she got all the paper work. but after we came back ,we found she forgot ask for applicant's overseas birth certificate!!!

What should be do??!!Shall we leave it or contact her? Will it cause any delay in processing??

CO said she would like grant it today but there are other ones queued before us. So she has to process them first....She said we can get it in a month or two. Can we really believe what she said??

It sounds like you did not have all your documents together with the application and that in total should have been handed over.
Of course contact her immediately and arrange to take/send the certified copy in.
Granting of visas can be quite variable and it may be that the CO has a supervisor who could think differently re time for processing.
