Smile Visa granted

I have posted the timeline in the sticky thread for this - but am so excited just wanted to give everyone else a bit of hope.

Date visa granted:09/03/10 - just got an email from our CO!!! WoobloodyHooooo!!!!

The Visa requires that we enter Australia before 12th July 2011 which links to 12 months from the date of the Medical (as Wanderer said).
total Time = 6 weeks from the receipt of our application and credit card being charged in Washington DC.

Hy husband doesn't need to send his passport in to be stamped as the 100 subclass PR Visa has been granted label free, and we have a Visa Grant Number for reference.

i am glad that we applied for the FBI & Police clearance, and the Medical Report before we sent in our application, as that did save us time.

Oh best of luck everyone!!!

That's great news for you & your husband Chrissie and no doubt many will be wondering why so quick!
It can often come down to just how busy a particular region of the globe is and how the local offices function plus of course at times HR Vs LR.
