886 - What is the right way to lodge Form 1277?

Hi all!

In relation to an 886 online application where a sponsor is a relative, does anyone know how the sponsor should lodge Form 1277?

The form itself states:
"If your relative has lodged their visa application online you must complete your sponsorship online."
Thus I assumed the form should be attached as a pdf (or other electronic form) using the link to "Attaching Documents to a General Skilled Migration visa application". Though, when I attached the actual documents there is no such description for Form 1277, so I am wondering if there is another link that should be used for its lodgement? Would it be better to contact the department?

Thank you in advance for your help!

I may not be correct but if the 886 applicant has a look at their online application info, there may be a reference to having the sponsor lodge.
Failing all endeavours, ring Immi.

Dear Sir,
it is written that for the sponsor to complete the sponsorship application, you must give him the TRF you got after lodging your 886 application. your sponsor will use your TRF to enter fill in the sponsorship application on-line under the following link:
https://www.ecom.immi.gov.au/visas/app/uu?form=GSMS
also, you can read all instructions in the following link:
Professionals and other Skilled Workers - Online Applications
but for the documents required, there is no documents required from the sponsor. documents are required to be attached by while lodging your application first.
- relationship to your sponsor (BC, PASSPORT, FAMILY TREE, ETC.)
- your sponsor status (permenant resident, citizen).
- your sponsor residential address. (lease papers and bills).
i hope this answer is sufficient for you.
regards

Thank you very much Raysool,

I seached for that link for sooo long, until I gave up.
Further, I called immigration several times and no one gave me that link for lodgement before, but it definitevely looks like it is the right one.
What I did in August was to attach the 1277 form filled in by my relative as a pdf document along with all other attachments such as relation to sponsor etc. At the department of immigration the officers said it was ok to do that way.
I wonder if my relative should do the electronic application in addition to the form I attached? The sponsorship application was to be done within a month of the visa application so I hope the department of immigration will consider my efforts to do the right thing.

Thank you again very much
