Possibility to be transferred from 175 to 176

Hello to everyone,

I have recently got my possitive assessment from Engineers Australia and I would like to apply for the GSM visa now. The only problem is I have total of 115 points which is not eligible for subclass 175 visa. Also the state sponsorship program has not yet been opened which restricts me to apply for subclass 176 visa. But I want my application to be prioritised so please advice me whether it is possible to apply for the subclass 175 visa now and to include my state sponsorship in a later date while my application is on pipeline thereby converting my visa scheme from 175 to 176.

Thank you in advance

A 175 application with less than 120 points will be placed in a waiting pool and once you can get sponsorship and if your occupation is on the state SMP, your application should be considered as a 176 and it would have priority level #2 .
