Skilled 457 Visa

Hi I am a computer programmer,
and looking to move to australia gold coast on a skilled work visa,

I have found a possible company that can sponsor me but what do they actually need to do to become a registered sponsor.

is there any minimum number of employees etc or any other requirements that they need to meet in order to sponsor a worker into the country.
