newly graduate student

Hi, i am freshly graduate in graphic designer which is not in current SOL list, that makes me worry but i heard that i can apply for TR (485) and find sponsor then i can lodge my PR file.

Is TRA has job ready test to assess?
Is there any possibility to apply for independent skill visa?
How long i have to work with the company who sponsor me?

thank you

You will find from Skilled – Graduate (Temporary) visa (subclass 485) that the 485 also has an eligibility requirement for occupations to be on the SOL.
Unless you can study for qualifications that are for an occupation on the SOL you can only really consider finding an employer to sponsor you.
You have to be on a temporary residency employer sponsorship for at least two years and then your employer would have to be agreeable and eligible to sponsor for permanent residency.
You can check details via. Employer Sponsored Workers - Workers - Visas & Immigration

first of all thanx replying me

I attended one seminar of immigration those guys said "you are still eligible to lodge your TR end time is in 2012 because you were enrol before changing of the rules" this is just exception for us. My course is in SOL schedule 1.

I also confirm that with different agents they said yes thats right.

any idea?
thanx

Ah yes, sorry about that and there is the transitional arrangement and Schedule 2 SOL applies - http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/_pdf/sol-schedule2.pdf
You will see it is VETASSESS that are the assessing authority.
The 485 is there for people to gain experience so as that may help them become eligible for a PR visa though it is not an employer sponsor visa and obviously you still need to find employment to get experience but if you find you have sufficient points for an 885/886 you can apply for either straight away.

ah thats great

if an applicant is getting a full 120 points so there is no need of employer sponsor or still they need the sponsor to lodging their PR?

Because my brother is Australian so i am getting some of his points and completing my 120 points.

Does volunteer experience is enough to submit the case?

thank you

You need to check what points you will be eligible for via Skilled – Independent (Residence) visa (subclass 885) and if you have family to sponsor you, the 886 is likely more applicable.
What you will find though is that you will have a low priority and so if you do find employment you may want to consider an employer sponsor visa if the employer is agreeable and eligible.
