De facto visa and child

Hi all!

My de facto partner (the applicant) has a child. I am the sponsor, but not the father of the child. I am, however, the main caregiver of the child (the applicant works, and I'm a househusband).

We are at a critical time in our child's development as she is going to school soon. Thus we need certainty as to which country she will be commencing her education in: the one in which we are currently living or in Oz.

So my question is this: does the CO take into account that there are three people involved in the application, not just the applicant and the sponsor?

Many thanks in advance!

Have a read of http://www.immi.gov.au/migrants/part...rtner/309-100/ and you will find children can be included with a parent being sponsored but there will of course be legal requirements such as custody.
Then with a person being a sponsor where a child is involved, there will be a police clearance for the sponsor too.
