Subclass 190 vs. 489 - Which is better ?

I am a Mechanical Engineer (with a Masters in Business Administration)
Age = 32 years
IELTS Band Score = 8. Feb 2014
Current residency and bachelors / Masters Education - USA
Work Experience = 7 years. With employer letter, Engineering Publications
Marital Status = Single.

Q1 - I did the visa tool, it says I qualify for Visa Categories 189 (75 points), 190(80points), 489 (85 points). Which of the three is the fastest ?

Q2 = Which of the three requires less funds to show in my bank account (I understand I have to keep minimum funds in the account through the whole process)

Q3 = which of the options offers the best chance of being selected ?

Thanks

My order of preference would be 189, 190, 489.

I can't tell you which one is fastest, but 190 and 489 have additional requirements because of the sponsorship and 489 is a provisional visa, which means you'll have to make another application down the track.

I'd say that the higher the score, the more chance of being selected. However, if you meet all the requirements for the sc. 189, that would be my first choice.

CCMS, thanks for the kind reply. Between 189 and 190 which of the two require less funds to be saved up for immigration. I understand I need to show a certain amount. Also when should I be prepared to show the amount - I'm still saving up. Thanks
