Certifying documents

I'm getting all my evidence together for 820 defacto visa. I know immigration wants certain docs certified, but do they want every piece of copied evidence certified? eg, cards from gifts, copies of receipts from joint purchases, etc...

No, just official documents like Birth Certificate and anything else that issued to you by a government and you also need them translated into english if they are not in english.
