Preparing for ACK skill assessment

Hi All,

First of all, i will like to appreciate everyone contributing this forum. This is a very usefull and informative forum.

I am planning to migrate to Australia and preparing for the ACS skill assessment as the first step. I have a bachelors degree in IT and around 5 years of experience in Java/J2EE development.

1. Do i belong to groupA?
2. What is general skill assessment and what is RPL assessment? Which type of assessment should i go for?
3. I found different forms ""skillassessform.pdf", "RPL_Pack_2.pdf" & "FormPASA2.0(RecognitionofPriorLearning)_Secti ons2-4". which one is right form to start with?
4. I had different designations in my IT career. I worked as software engineer, technology consultant and application consultant. But my job description was still related to analysis & development. Which ANZSCO code should i choose?
5. Do i need to provide the project reports? If yes, which projects should i choose? the most recent one? or can i choose the project which is around 4 years older?
6. When they say "References are required to substantiate the experience cited in the above project report." What kind of ref they need? Is it kind of experience letter which will show the project name which i completed?

Thanks in advance,
