Today my husband's partner visa was finally granted

Yippee !!!

Just in time! (Another day longer and the tension would have been unbearable)

5 months and eight days from lodgement to grant!

Thank you to Wanderer, and to each one of you , for helping me through all of this.

I wish you all the very best. May everybody here get your visas granted really soon.

How did they notify your husband that the visa was granted? My husband had a phone call this week to confirm his address for the return of his passport and original documents. I am not sure what this means. Was your husband notified once his application had been put forward for final decision?
Congratulations i feel so happy and relieved for you.

Thank you dear Jude!

We got an email five weeks ago, informing us that his file has been forwarded for final decision. Then today, my husband got the great news via email, that the visa is granted!

Maybe the reason we got that email about the forwarding five weeks back, was because I had written two emails before that, requesting an update. I'm not sure if it is standard practice to inform the client that it is time for forwarding. My suggestion, contact your CO immediately. Remind them that you are real humans, a real couple and longing for each other.

Wishing you all the very best dear Jude. Fingers crossed for you :-)
