801 documents

Hello Mark
Hope you are enjoying your weekend. I need your suggestions regarding 820/801 visa documents. The immigration department asked me to provide more documents for the stage 2 for permanent residency. But I am stuck with the witnesses stat Dec. How many people's stat dec should I provide to the immigration? ALSO, can I use the same people we used before at syage 1 procedure to do the stat Dec that my husband and I are still husband wife and have normal married life? I am not very social person and few of the people I was counting on are not ready or not available in Australia....what should I do?
Help please
And I am planning on submitting most of the things on this Tuesday. Hope all goes well. One more thing, what should we keep in mind in our own stat Dec. ? That is 47sp and 40sp? Anything I need to know?

Kind regards
Christi

Hi Flowerpot -

I'd have a careful look here: Partner (Permanent) Calculator

You do not need to do 47sp and 40sp again, but you will need to complete an online form and several paper forms you can read about at the above site. No problem generally with using same persons you used for stage 1 stat decs. In your and partner's stat decs, important to read the pre-filled info in the stat dec templates that you download, and confirm that your relationship is still intact, etc.

Hope this helps -

Best,

Applied for 820/801 on 26/09/2012
Submitted all documents by 17/10/2012
820 visa granted on 04/12/2012
Now, immigration department asked for additional documents on 28/07/2014.
My question is what is the best way to send immigration department all my additional documents?
Also, how long does it take for final results? I mean for PR?
Do you suggest any additional information or documents to provide which I don't know?
I have both of us ( my husband and mine together) travel documents, gifts, social life photos and get together, car insurance, bills, house rent and bond details, bank statements for joint account, )
Is there anything else I need to provide them? Please help

Thanx in advance
Kind regards

Hi Flowerpot -

It's somewhat unusual to be called in for an interview for an 801 visa - I expect this means they have doubts about the genuineness of the relationship or suspect that the relationship may have broken down, etc.

I'd go over the sample partner visa interview questions here on the forum (we also have a list on our website - see below - under the "Info" tab) and carefully go over the key dates you provided to DIBP. Also make sure you are very familiar with your partner's family and their employment, education, etc. Also be prepared if they wish to interview you both separately.

Hope this helps -

Best,
