I had received the acknowledgement from DIAC on 06-Oct-2010. I had applied under Skilled Independent ( sub class 175).

I would like to know the time duration DIAC would take to review the documents & declare the results.

There is no set time and it can vary significantly depending and also on whether your occupation is in SOL#3 or #4
Have a look at the processing priority link via What's New? Recent Changes in General Skilled Migration and Client Service Charter is something of a guide but note the notes re variations.
