309 VISA GRANTED - 4.5 months

Unbelievable...
Our 309 Visa was granted at 11.50am today.
So timeline was:
Nov 19th 2013 applied in person in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
Jan 5th Resubmitted documents that they had lost.
Jan 5th Was given medical no.
Jan 17th Completed medical.
Jan 30th Final Police check submitted.
March 31st Phone interview at 10.30am - took 15 mins and they said our application was very helpful to their process as super detailed and complete. The wife said the interviewer was wonderful.
Granted an hour later.

In shock as expected at least a year. I would like to thank all who helped us on this forum and wish good luck to all still waiting. Will help if I can.

Yeah I couldn't believe it - my wife is from the Philippines (high risk) and we applied and live in Cambodia (again high risk). I guess the time was just right and the application was good...Not going to complain. Shame we just signed up to another year in Cambodia so will have to go to Oz and then come back here to finish our contracts...but super happy that we can plan with a bit of certainty now.

Great! Congratulations!

Could I get some tips about how to prepare detailed and complete applications as I don't have a confidence that ours are so much detailed?
