Documents Needed

Hey guys,

My partner and me are separated and applying for a divorce in another year. we won't be immigrating together either so I was wondering if I would need any other documents from her. What I mean is do I need her to sign any documents or take any documents from her for immigration. As per the visa form all it says is that if I am separated then I need to fill a statutory declaration and submit which is fine but getting any documents or signatures from my partner wouldn't really be possible. So any idea on this?

Thanks,
Raj S.

If she is not being shown as a secondary applicant and you are separated, just go with what the application and Checklist advice is,

Rajs, did you apply? Did you need to provide any documents relating to or from your wife?

@AJ

Sorry for the delayed reply.
As of now I am in the process of applying and currently having my skills assessed. From all the information I gathered, I believe that all I would need is a statutory declaration because even the visa form doesn't require any details from your ex-wife if you are separated and not traveling together.
So, no I don't think any documents would be needed from my wife.

Regards.
