Holydays in Australia

Hi, who knows if i need a visa to go for a couple of weeks to australia.

I reside in the Netherlands with a residence permit, but have a nationality from outside the EU.

I would suggest you first check with the Australian Embassy in NL. I would imagine that regardless of your residency it will be your passport that determines whether or not you need a tourist visa.
You'll probably find that the embassy website has a list of nationalities requiring a visa.

The only people that do not need a visa to visit Australia are its own Citiizens/PRs and New Zealanders who actually get issued with a silent one on arrival.
