Unhappy 309 + Separation + pregnancy = ?????

Hello all,

What would happen if:

the male applicant has already the temporary visa 309 granted and he's already in Australia,

The relationship breaks down (or they get temporarily separated) and both people go to live in different houses.

The female aussie sponsor is pregnant:

They are going to both recognise the baby and take shared parental custody.

The baby would be due in spring 2011.

If the two separated in different houses, would Immigrations inspectors come and check whether the couple is still together? And how? by checking the clothes in wardrobes etc.?? And in these months while the baby is no born yet, declaring to the case officer the end of the relationship would end the 309 visa.

So is it better to hold on secretly till the baby is born and then automatically the 309 becomes 100 PR. Are inspectors actually go to inspect 309 couples??? What to do???

Please reply as many as you can!

Legally, advice should be forwarded to Immi about the separation and it may not always mean that PR will not be granted for it can in exceptional circumstances but if it becomes known that the situation has not been declared, the chances of getting PR could be reduced.
