Question Partner stage 2 - statement of relationship

Hi all,

I am new here - have already had a look around and there is some great info here on this very confusing subject.

I'm helping my wife put together the documents for her 2nd stage partner visa application which was lodged onshore.

We need to do a statement of relationship, and to be honest we're having a lot of trouble understanding what they want.

When they ask for "details on your domestic arrangements" - what exactly do they want here?

And again for "social activities" and "special events"?

As far as I can tell we do the same sorts of thing any other married couple would do. Any general ideas about what they want to see here would be very helpful. Thanks!

How about you just describe the relationship then:
. You both working or not
. Any split on domestic stuff
. What do you do in spare time, joined any clubs etc.
. What is the current housing situation and any future plans
. Family plans if any
. Planning to wed at all?
. Her home grown tomatoes are better than mine so that puts paid to the Jack Thompson peeing on them theory etc.

I was hoping some people who had been through this would have some experiences to share.

At the moment I am taking a very technical approach and am answering their questions to the letter, in short bullet points.

We've got a ton of documents and photos to support the application - and as they say 'a picture is worth a thousand words' - not sure what we can write that will add to what we've already got.
