cancellation of student visa sub class 572

HI,
i arrived melbourne on student visa subclass 572 and my visa was cancelled due to unsatisfactory course progress i further made an application to MRT for the review and was unsucessful again, leaving me no other choice but return to my country of origin and now since my dad being my sponser and holding Uk's Indefinite Leave to Enter(ILE) and my mom moving to uk on 15 of november 2010 i am looking forward to make an application to join my parents but since i have to leave australia before 22 of november 2010 and cannot go back to my country of origin i am trying to make an application for refugee visa and wait for outcome of my uk family reunion visa will making an application for refugee visa affect my uk family reuinon visa.

Thank You.

If you want to apply for a UK visa, it will be entirely a matter for the UK how they view your visa situation in Australia.

What your situation will be will whatever visa you get granted on making an application for a protection visa and for the UK, get some knowledge of the UK immigration situation via Visa and embassy information for all countries - Projectvisa.com and a bit of googling may find some agents that work with their system.

With your student visa already cancelled, you had better check what the conditions are of the visa you have been issued with, a bridging visa E is it?
