Age limit eligibility

Hi Wanderer,
Can you tell me how much points are awarded for age eligibility.

The DIAC website says:

Age
You must be under 45 years of age on the day of making your application.

Points awarded
Your eligibility for points is determined by your age on the day of making your application.

Age Points
18 to 29 years 30
30 to 34 years 25
35 to 39 years 20
40 to 44 years 15

But my question is what does 29 imply?

30 points are awarded for 29 years complete and 30 running or 28 years complete and 29 running?I have a scenario when the person is gonna turn 29 years (complete) in april and is gonna lodge for visa type 175 around the same time. How many points wud he get 30 or 25?

Also when do the consider the age limit? On the day they receive the application or on the day case file number is assigned?

BR/Dhawal.

You are 29 right up until you turn 30 so a 29YO gets 30 points and a 30YO gets 25.
Points are awarded as for conditions at date of application and that date is when it is received by Immi and there will probably be a number assigned to it on receipt.
