UK accredited degree assessed

Hi all,

I'm preparing for Subclass 175 visa and about to get my Skill assessed by Engineers Australia. I graduated in the UK with an honours degree, accredited by Institution of Mechanical Engineers. Am I qualified for Washington Accord? As I'm a Vietnamese national, do I have to enclose an IELTS test report to EA for assessment?

The UK is a Washington Accord country and if you check the EA site you will see that there is no reference to english language ability on the Accord assessment application.
There is of course with a visa application and you will want to look at the english language link under eligibility, it being a five year tertiary course from memory that waives the IELTS reuirement for someone from a country that does not have english as the native language but cdhanges do get made in regulations from time to time.
