There's a Form 1022 that can be used for changes to information but with skilled visas you cannot change your nominated occupation if that is what you were considering doing.

Thank you Wanderer,
The form 1022 provided by you is exactly what I am looking for. I just want to update some changes in my current circumstances not for nominated occupation. once again, thanks for your useful advice.

Hi Wanderer,

I've studied the form 1022 and would like to ask you a question, can I use this form to tell DIAC some changes in my current roles in the company which are different with the roles I hold at the time I lodged the application even though it still relates to my engineering field. Thank you.

Skilled visa applications are assessed on what is at the time of application and on what information is provided.
Though advising of changes to personal details is normal and expected, I do not think Immi expect to get updates on what work you are actually doing but if you suddenly became unemployed or changed employer that information should be provided.
