Question ETA Visa

I have an ETA Visa that will expire on March 2, 2011 and I'm planning on staying in Australia past that date up until March 24, 2011. I was wondering if I can re-apply for another ETA so that I can use it for another 12 months.. is this possible? Or do I have to wait for my ETA to expire and then apply for a new one? Pls help

Have a look @ ETA (Visitor) (Subclass 976)
You can not apply for an ETA while in Australia but you may be able to apply for a different tourist visa.
Alternately, you could enquire as to if you cancel your existing ETA before travelling whether you could apply for another but you'll have no guarantee and could only see what happens when you do cancel and re-apply.
