857 visa

hi my partner is trying to get a nomination passed for 857 visa, he is an aged carer with cert 3 and cert 4.

we were previously advised that there was no minimum salary for this visa type but now his nomination is being refused because he is not being offered 47480

we are confused by this because this is the same salary level need for 457 visa type. any information would be appreciated

Lightbulb hi

I had the same situation. when ever you going to extend your 457 visa or going to apply PR from ENS, you have to go with new rules. So better try to ask a salary increment from your employer.

Good luck!

You will see for the position nomination there is a remuneration reference and not surprising that it is consistent with awards as apply for 457 visas.
