Does having children affect PMV?

I was wondering if the fact that my fiance is divorced with 3 children from his previous marriage would have a negative affect on our Prospective Visa App.
He pays child support and his annual income is more than efficient to cover anything needed. So could immi refuse the visa because of that?

It should not come into consideration other than they looking at his nett income and whether he is OK financially to offer support to you.
