visa subclass 476

Hi everybody,
I'm new to this forum and I really appreciate active members who try to help others.
I've done my MSc in Textile engineering at a recognized university in Iran. I wonder if Textile engineering is eligible for subclass 476?
If so,I will be grateful if you answer my questions:
1. How can I find out about Textile engineers job oppurtunity in Australia?
2. Is visa 885 my only choice for applying for permanent visa?
3. If during 18 months stay in Australia I register for a two year MSc degree, can I change the visa 476 to student visa?!
4. I've studid Textile engineering but I would like to have a career in IT. I will be more than happy if you advise me how I can pursue it using visa 476?

Waiting for your help.

I'm not too sure about Textile Engineering being on the 476 visa and if it is not listed, that'll be your answer.
As for studying in Australia, you could even apply for a student visa from abroad, that being what most do but there is an inherent danger in that you are attempting to predict the future as to what regulations for skilled immigration may be, and in the case of studying something entirely different to what you already have, that will just complicate the situation for you.

Thanks for your reply. Textile engineering is not mentioned directly on the website of department of immigration but it is written:
" Engineering specialisations include but are not limited to:

•Civil Engineering
•Structural Engineering
•Chemical Engineering
•Environmental Engineering
•Electrical and Electronics Engineering
•Mechanical, Production and Plant Engineering
•Mining and Material Engineering."

Do you know how I can be assured of that?
