SMP Western Australia

Western Australia has has released its Skilled Occupation List,in this regard the Accountant(General) is listed therein but in the last column of list :"Status" what does "Not Available" means?

What will happen to those applicants who are already sponsored by Western Australia in Accountant's Category?

Thanks.

Hassan

Probably means they reckon they have enough accountants for the moment.
If you have an existing sponsorship, you should still be able to apply for a visa but you'll not have the SMP priority I expect.
Have a read of all the Priority info FAQ via What's New? Recent Changes in General Skilled Migration and you can always contact Immi if you want to seek further clarification.

Thanks for your reply.
But what is the rationale behind listing Accountant in the new list?Does not it means that they are no more positions available for sponsoring this profession category at the moment ? I have posted the same query to the WA Government for clarification through the respective department's website.

Regards,

Hassan

Dear Super Moderator;
Nice to have your reply !
I have received the reply to the same query from WA Governement,and they have informed me that my Sponsorship is still valid and Accountant(General) is still on listed on their latest released list,but the status is "Not Available" because they had already reached the quota for this very profession category.

Thanks

Hassan
