CO appointed but no response

Hi I have been appointed a case officer in August 2010 and she requested me certain documents like Police report and medical etc. I have submitted all documents as per her request in Sept. But I havent got any response from her yet. I have tried calling the immi and send numerous email but in vain. Can anyone tell why do they take so long even I have been given a Case Officer?

Hi there,

I know it's frustrating and stressful when you are waiting for a visa to be processed, but you have to be patient.

COs have literaly hundreds of cases to go through, and like you, each one of them is waiting for a piece of their time. Just think of it as 'no news is good news'. The DIAC information also states that applicants need to be understanding and not bombard COs with e-mails and phone calls as this can hamper the process and also make the COs quite agitated.

So, hang in there and give your CO time. I'm sure you'l hear something soon.
