12 months stay in 18 month period?????

Hi just curious to know if anyone can tell me does the "condition" 12 month stay within 18 month period only apply to visitor (600) visas or does it apply for all visas?

I ask as I only see it as a condition under the 600 visa and no other visitor visa.
