Haha no worries Steve, i've been writing everywhere in this forum including on the one titled pmv from phillipines too! Maybe that was why you got confused :-p
Yep, once i resigned i will apply for my tourist visa

We still haven't heard any news...
The thing is if we apply for tourist visa will most probably state "no further stay" . If we don't hear anything after 3 month.... he will need to go back.
If we haven't heard from our CO is very hard to make decision as we dont know whats going on...
Lets hope we receive some good news very soon!

Hi Valeria your partner will have to leave Australia anyway to have the PMV issued it can't be granted if they are onshore.
If you do get a tourist visa make sure you let your CO know so they can inform your partner when to leave.
