ACS Applicaiton Processing

Hi All,

I'm new to this forum.

I lodged my application with ACS 5mths ago and still received no results.

The following is a breakdown of all the communication I've had with them:
31st July – Lodged Initial Application to be assessed for 2231-13 (Computing Professional - Systems Designer) with ACS.
22nd Sept – contacted by ACS regarding payment. After ACS double-checked their records, they confirmed they received the payment on Aug 3rd.
09th Nov – request from ACS to re-issue all certified documents, as they never received them.
11th Nov – confirmation from ACS that they actually did receive the documents; and requested further documents to proceed with application.
02nd Dec – confirmation from ACS receipt of additional documents

Needless to say my comfort levels with ACS are low. Has anybody else had these issues with ACS?

Also, after 12weeks of the initial application, ACS only requested further documents after I contacted them (not vice-versa as would be expected). They emailed me to say that the delay with sending through the additional documents would not be part of the processing time. Now it’s been 5mths and I still do not know when I should expect to hear from them. They emails/ automated responses are not very informative and direct emails are ignored. Is there an alternative way I can get to the bottom of this or just sit-tight?

Whatever ACS is doing, one thing you need to address is that an ASCO code assessment may not be of much value to you and you really need to be seeking an ANZSCO coded assessment if you're planning on using the assessment for immigration.

thks wanderer. I assume from your response that ACS will go ahead and issue a result under ASCO code (although no longer used??) and not provide the ANSZCO?

I would never assume anything too much and best you contact ACS again and see about getting what you are after if possible.
