Australia/New Zealand ETA

I was wondering if I can travel to New Zealand with the same ETA visa for Australia?? Or is there another separate visa I have to get to travel to New Zealand??

The Kiwis do have a lot in common with us but they are a separate country with their own immigration regulations - Immigration New Zealand

Thanks for the info Wanderer Im traveling to Oz in 4 days and im so stoked! Is it possible for me to get a tourist visa to New Zealand whilst in Oz? I plan to fly to NZ for only a few days some time in March

I hold a USA passport and I just read that USA passport holders do not need a visa for New Zealand.. is this true?

According to the website:: List of Visa Free Countries USA passport holders do not need a visa for a tourist visit to NZ.
