Bachelor's degree with HONOURS

What does DIAC mean by "Bachelor's degree with HONOURS" ?

Is it a 4 year degree or is it a degree with high percentage of passing marks?

With you answers, please explain Engineering degrees in Australia.

Thank you.

There are different levels of degrees as are mentioned @ Skilled – Independent (Migrant) Visa (Subclass 175)
The levels are usually something like, basic bachelor or referred to by Immi as Undergraduate, bachelor with honours which means that you have achieved a higher level of study in particular subjects and then that can lead to a doctorate and masters.

I am basically talking about the expected new point test system. It is mentioned in the fact sheet that point will be awarded to a "bachelor's degree with honours" or "master degree"..Now that I have a four year Engineering bachelor's degree, where do I fall?

If you do not have honours or masters you'll not get any points that are specified for having one of those.
