Joint bank account queries

My fiance is Polish and in Australia on a 3 month tourist visa. We are about to get married. I am an Australia citizen. Can we get a joint bank account?

After the first couple of weeks you can go to a bank, she must have her passport with her and you can open an account. I opened a joined bank account with my Aussie partner after being there for 3 weeks.

It'll be up to the individual bank and how they view the situation with your fiance being on a temporary visa.

Taking things to the next step you may be considering, you may find that getting married will not allow her to stay/apply for a partner visa and you should check her tourist visa to see if it has a No Further Stay condition for that means she cannot apply for another visa onshore and will need to leave Australia before her tourist visa expires.
