820 granted?

Ok so I am a little bit excited at the moment but based on all the things I read on these forums about conversations with immigration I think I should keep my emotions in check.

My partner and I are going overseas on the 19th June. Yesterday we lodged out BVB application. My partner received a call from Immigration today to let him know that his card had declined! My partner cleared that up, and asked the officer how our application was going. He put my partner on hold and came back to him and said that they were waiting on our Australian Police Check, but that if we could get it to him prior to us departing on the 19th June he would grant our 820 visa "so he could save himself $140!". He gave my partner his direct number and email address to send the check through to!

If it's granted prior to us leaving it would mean a total processing time of 5 months and 13 days!

EEEK!

p.s we have the police checks and uploaded them online, so are just going to email them through!

Apply for that damn check. Mine was processed the day after I applied, came in the mail 2 days later. I'd camp in front of the AFP building if I had to to get that paper, that's such good news!
