Visa 820 July Price Increase?

Does anyone know if all visas have a price increase in July?

The online account is STILL not letting me continue and I don't think my Medical has been finalised yet. I'm really beginning to panic as the last thing we need is extra costs.

I'm wondering whether to just redo everything and apply on paper to make sure it's submitted before July 1st :/

Unfortunately there's no way to know. They keep their cards close to their vest. We likely won't know until just a few days before, or until after it happens.

It just all depends on how long your doctor takes to submit your results (I think). Maybe give them a few days more and see what happens.

why doesn't it work? did you try calling the IMMI helpline to get assistance? Don't worry too much yet as you still have about 3 weeks or so. Hopefully it works out fingers crossed

Yeah lildevil, there's no reason why it shouldn't. It's to do with my medical and a gliche in the system I think.

Just put in my urine sample today Collegegirl, had to redo it. Gunna give it til the end of next week, maybe mid week after then just do the paper application.

I'm just impatient and I'm terrible at over thinking things. I just don't want to have to tell the hubby there's been a price increase when we've spent so much already just getting me here.

The Government will be gladly cashing in on people who simply want to have their partner stay in Australia. They will be asking DOUBLE the current amount, i.e. Partner Visa now $4500 - will go up to around $9000.

If you would like to give voice to your frustrations regarding your experience with the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) such as the insurmountable costs, inefficiencies in processing, significant time delays, poor communication and the list goes on... Please go to the dedicated Facebook page AustraliaDIACFail and tell us your story.

FYI: The Department of Immigration already generates $1.4B in revenue per annum, which has exponentially increased by 7% from the previous year (source: DIAC Annual Report 2012-13). A few extra unsolicited dollars is going to make this figure skyrocket...

Better get with the times they haven't been DIAC for some time, now they are DIBP.
Also visas will increase 50% in price on Jan 1.
You may get some support from this group but the general population couldn't give a rat's! Sad but that's the way it is.
