translation needed for everything?

Hello,

We are currently beginning the process of collecting all our evidence to apply for a defacto visa for a hight risk category. We are applying off shore from greece, however i have check and recently they have changed the location of where defacto visas are being issue from and now the office in berlin will be responsible for our application. As we have lived in greece and it wasnt previously a problem to have the documents in greek will we now have to have all documents translated into english because they are being sent to berlin? I have tryed to ring the cosulate but continually get computer recorded messages.

i also have another question, we have been living in a house for 2 years on the greek island and havnt got a rental contract. Would a stat dec or greek equivilant from our landlord stating we had lived in his rental house and paid per month as all bills and house information is under his name be recognised to suppliment a rental contract?

If anyone else has any experiance dealing with prooving living status in greece i would welcome all the help we can get!

Much appreciated
Rachel

Just because Berlin is the Immi centre for some European countries, does not mean documents are not needed in english for that is the case wherever an application is made, the Australian embassies operating on english being the Australian language.

So, yes, all official documents like birth certificates and statements need to be translated by approved people, translations and then copies thereof certified.
Seems Mrs Greek answered about the rental situation.
